Thomas J. Voigtsberger passed away October 22, 2013 surrounded by his loving family, after a valiant fight with cancer.  Tom met this last challenge as he did every other in his too short life, with strength, hope and dignity.  Tom was born on January 8, 1958 in Abington, Pennsylvania.

Tom was proud of his position as General Manager at Famous Dave’s .  He worked with a great crew of people who shared his pride in serving his customers the best meal in town.

Tom will be remembered for many things, his integrity, his wry sense of humor, his “rolling eyes” and his “smirk”.  Toms’ memory will live on in the hearts of his loving wife Missy and his three amazing children Danielle, Samantha, and TJ, all who brought him great pride and gave him gray hair.

Tom will be missed dearly by all who were blessed to have known him.  Tom is survived by his siblings, Ted, Kathy (Andrew Horn), Michael, Gary (Lynne), Kurt and Jan (Tom Gallagher), as well as his nieces and nephews, who will always remember his infectious sarcasm and entertaining stories.

Those who knew and loved Tom will understand his decision for a private service.  Donations in his name can be made here http://preventcancer.aicr.org/goto/Tom_Voigtsberger to the American Institute for Cancer Research.

Missy, Danielle, Samantha and TJ,
Deepest sorrow and sympathies to all of you as you begin this new season without your husband/father. Tom was the BEST OF THE BEST – Please know that he was loved and admired by so many of us. I pray that you as a family will find comfort through these difficult days in knowing we share in your sorrow.

Although it’s been about a year now, I’m first hearing about Tommy’s passing and I’m very saddened. My deepest condolences go out to Missy and the kids. We may have lost touch, but I think of him, and Missy, from time to time and the memories always bring a smile to my face. Rest in Peace, Tommy.

~Kerry
