Steven Skender age 83 passed away on Friday, September 1, 2017 ay Mercy Vitas Hospice, Chicago, Illinois.

 Steven was born in Croatia, married Katherine Galtic and together in their union of marriage had one son Slavko. They immigrated to the United Sates and lived their lives in the Heart of Chicago neighborhood. Steven was loved by his neighbors, friends and his extended family in Croatia. Steven will be greatly missed.

 Steven is survived by his son Slavko Skender. He was proceeded in death by his wife Katherine Skender.

 Visitation: Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at St. Pius V. Catholic Church  from 9:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Burial at St. Mary Cemetery, Evergreen Park, Illinois.
