I am sharing in you sorrow. I know that Scott is in a better place and he is fishing with his dad. He will greatly missed no only by myself, but by all that came in contact with him. He served Our Lord up until the day he went home, and through this I have truly grown in my faith. God grant you all, comfort, peace and strength during this trying time. God’s blessings, Nancy Pawlikowski Let me know if I can help in any way.

To Diane, Becky, and Michelle, our deepest sympathy on the loss of your beloved husband and father. Scott was a pure joy to be around, he always had a big smile and a friendly Hello! that made me feel warm inside. His passion for Christ was contagious. He was truly a man of God. We will miss his inspiring and faith building sermons. My prayer is that Jesus holds you in the palm of His hand during this difficult time.

Christ. I know he would say No More Worries, I am Home.

We are praying for you Thomas girls. Asking God to keep His promise to give you His peace and His God-sized comfort.

Scott’s smile, life’s lessons and common sense “rubber to the road” sermons will be sorely missed. As I think about his mission to Love People to Christ, this hymn keeps coming to mind, because Scott brought it to life:

Blessèd assurance, Jesus is mine!
O what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God,
Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood.

Refrain

This is my story, this is my song,
Praising my Savior, all the day long;
This is my story, this is my song,
Praising my Savior, all the day long.

Perfect submission, perfect delight,
Visions of rapture now burst on my sight;
Angels descending bring from above
Echoes of mercy, whispers of love.

Refrain

Perfect submission, all is at rest
I in my Savior am happy and blest,
Watching and waiting, looking above,
Filled with His goodness, lost in His love.

Refrain

God Bless and Keep your whole family. May our Heavenly Father’s loving arms enfold and hold you close.

In His love, Cindy

Scott brought me back to my faith. He shared words of comfort when I was in doubt and he always had an open heart, an open mind and open arms for that giant bear hug we all needed every now and then. We are all sad that he has passed and I send my paryers and love to the family that Scott had such a deep love for.

One great loss for us, one huge gain for the “Big Man” upstairs. Scott can finally rest at home. We will see you again my friend.

Love and Blessings,
Jess

To Diane, Becky, Michelle and extended family. Words are difficult to find at times like this to ease the loss of someone like Scott. While I never had the privilage of meeting Scott, in the 3 short years I’ve worked with Diane, it’s easy to see what a genuine person of fatih and loving nature he was, had for others and instilled a message with those lucky enough to be touched by him. My prayers and thoughts continue to go out to all of you through this difficult time, my the Lord comfort and provie strength to you all.

Our hearts mourn Scott’s passing. Never met a better soldier for Christ, a leader and example for all. Human sadness mingled with Christian joy knowing Scott is in HIS arms.

I join in the celebration of Scott going to heaven, fishing with his dad.

We followed Scott through Caring Bridge – he was a child of God – he will truly be missed – he taught us how to live and through his illness taught us how to die with dignity

Scott was a founding member of “the Boys.” Glenn Fiene introduced him to me @1970. Within a week, we were friends for life.

I can’t help but wonder how many times we laughed so hard that we both ended up in tears. I’m sure the number is over 50.

“The Boys” will each have his own personal “take” on what Scott meant to them. Dan Domach told me that Scott played a different role to a ton of people, yet was sincere and truly himself each and every time. Great thoughts.

Lately, my thoughts have been dwelling on how much talent has been lost. A great softball and basketball player, a great story-teller, a good singer, piano-player, guitar-player, songwriter, rock dancer, pool-shooter, announcer, radio jock, voice-over, and the list goes on.

For me, in an effort to simplify things, let me say he was a dedicated husband and father, undoubtedly a great son and brother, clearly a great friend, and obviously one of God’s finest, but most unusual creations.

God bless Diane, Becky, Michelle, Doris, and Bob. And for the hundredth time, “Thnak you, Scott J for EVERYTHING!”

Dear Diane, Becky and Michelle,

Our hearts go out to you with love and some tears. We are blessed knowing that Scott used his amazing God given talents to make the world a better place in so many ways. I loved his radio show and the passion he brought to any topic, always allowing others their say, but never wavering from sharing the truth when a person was misdirected. His incredible written journey is such a tribute to the way he lived. God always came first and he never ever let go of hope. I know you will be comforted in knowing that he is cured in heaven and no longer suffers or struggles and has been made whole. We have been blessed to know him and we are blessed to hear that his words will continue to touch so many lives even after he has left this world for his heavenly reward. What an Easter he will have!! Prayers and hugs for God’s comfort and finding the new normal in your lives. Love The Hougaards

Scott was an amazing man. He was bigger than life,
had a smile that warms the heart and a calling that brought many of
us back to the Lord. I am forever grateful for his kindness and counseling when my husband, was battling his own cancer. He had a way about him that naturally drew you to him for he had so much to share. And while we mourn
his passing, we can find comfort that he
is with his God.
Diane,Becky and Michelle, know that he
loved you with all his heart and that will never die. May God continue to give you comfort and strength in the days ahead.

Scott was a man of inspiration, at a very young age he showed his exemplary wisdom and counseling. Diane, Becky & Michele our thoughts and prayers are with you. We were all blessed to have known Scott.

I went to high school with Scott and just learned of his passing. I spent a lot of time playing basketball with Scott when we were kids and over the years I often thought of him and wondered where he ended up. Unfortunately I never managed to keep in touch with my friends from high school so I never had the good fortune to know about all the great things Scott was accomplishing until now. There is a Facebook page dedicated to the John Marshall alumni that I visit from time to time. Today I noticed a post there about Scott and was saddened to hear the news. I am happy to learn by the many comments here that Scott was as of a great man as he was a great kid in high school. My thoughts and prayers go out to Scott and his family.
