Robert J. Humann Sr. passed away peacefully with his loving daughter at his side on July 5, 2018 at Rainbow Hospice Ark. Born July 25, 1960 in Chicago, IL, Rob used all 57 years of his life to expeience it to the fullest.
Rob is survived by his 5 children Robert J Humann Jr (Natalie), Joseph A. Humann, Steven J. Galambos, Evan Stoos (Jasmen) and Marie Roche (Lee) and 15 grandchildren; Nicholas, Steven Jr, Tyler, Emma, Morgan, Maxwell, Xander, Maggie, Erin, Wyatt, Ava, Noah, Lexington, Lee Jr, and Cole, and his 3 siblings Daniel (Susan), Brian(Allison), and Dorothy Martin (Bruce). An uncle to many nieces and nephews. A great friend to all that knew him. He was proceeded in death by his father Gerardo, mother Shirley, brother Jerry, sister Elizabeth (Betty).
He will be most remebered for his easy going kind hearted spirit. He spent his entire life working, as a union welder for Lindahl Bros, and as a diesal mechanic for Valez Semi & Trailer repair.
Visitation will be held on Sunday July 8, 2018 from 4-8pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home 3201 Jefferson St in Joliet, IL. With funeral services following Monday July 9, 2018 at 10am and procession to Clarendon Hills Cemetery in Darien IL to follow services.
