Robert Louis Hofer, Age 34 passed away suddenly on December 12, 2023. Cherished son of Robert and Crystal (nee Mergler) Hofer. Loving brother of Megan (Jim) Zerby, Mari (Jason) Kors, Richard (Danika Kiss) Hofer and half brother Matthew (Laura) Lubieniecki. Proud uncle of Lincoln & London Zerby; Hannah, Cameron & Isaac Kors and Elliot & Emma Kiss-Hofer. Dear nephew of Donna (Nick) Roseto, Heather Dodge, Lisa (Alan) Ippolito and Breta Schutzenhofer. Fond cousin of many. Robby is also survived by the woman who brought love to his heart, Jessica Roop and her two boys, Luca and Lenny and his fur baby Sky. Preceded in death by his grandparents Donald & Janet Mergler and Alois & Bernice Schutzenhofer, uncles Gerald Schutzenhofer Sr., James Schutzenhofer and his aunts Heidi (late Bob) Rowley and Star Mergler.
Robby was a member of Operating Engineers Local 150. He served our country in the US Navy from 2010 to 2017 as a Boatswain Mate on the USS Lassen in Japan and served a year in Bahrain and ended his service in Virginia Beach.
One thing that meant the world to him was his rescue Pittie Sky. His dream was one day to have lots of land so he could have many rescues. Robby was witty, carefree and always down for a good time. He provided many laughs to family and friends. He had a heart of gold and always helpful, never expecting to be reimbursed any favors. Robby loved spending time with his friends. He will be greatly missed in this life.
Funeral services will be private.

Our hearts break for all of you during this difficult time. It was a pleasure to be able to watch Robby grow up into the man he became. I will always treasure the younger days of our boys when they played and goofed around together, We appreciate his service to our country. It’s smooth sailing from here Rob. Rest In Peace. You will be missed .

Words can’t express our sorrow for your lose. Words are not enough to describe the number of memories we’ve
had with Robby and the boys. He was a good kid who will be truly missed. Those we love can never be more than a thought away; for as long as there’s a memory, they live in our hearts.
