Kurt J. Kolar Age 43, passed away suddenly on August 23, 2012. Cherished husband of Kimberly (nee Schmidt) Devoted father of Konrad Kolar. Beloved son of Millie (nee Kotlan) and Lou Kolar. Loving brother of Kris (Arjen) Kuyper. Dear uncle of Nico and Aaron Kuyper. A gathering of Kurt’s family and friends will be held at 6:30 pm Wednesday at the Rooftop of The Bottom Lounge, 1375 W. Lake St., Chicago. In lieu of flowers, memorials to LEEP Forward Inc., Therapeutic Clinic, 400 N. May, Chicago, IL 60642 supporting children with special needs would be appreciated. Kurt was the owner of the Law Office of Kurt J. Kolar in Chicago.

To Kimberly and Kurt’s family,
I am saddened to hear of your loss. On the few occassions that I met Kurt, I was impressed with his attentiveness to his son, Konrad. Kurt was smart, witty, playful, handsome, responsible father and husband. My memories of him will be fond ones. My thoughts will be with you Kimberly and Konrad.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Kolar Family for their loss of Kurt. I’ve known Kurt for over 15 years practicing bankruptcy law in Chicago. I will always remember Kurt for his uncanny wit and humor and his ability to make people smile and laugh like no other. We’ve lost a great colleague and friend. To Kurt’s Family, may he rest in peace and may all your love for and memories of Kurt get you through this difficult time.
