From the song by Billy Joel for Dino===>
They say there’s a heaven for those who will wait
Some say it’s better but I say it ain’t
I’d rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints
Sinners are much more fun…
You know that only the good die young…
RIP Dino. Donna

Dino, what can I say? I can remember it like yesterday when we met on Keeler avenue in 1983. We became as they say “thick as thieves”. We were the rat pack of the neighborhood. But along with the bad memories and havoc we caused we also created some very bright and beautiful memories. We saw each other through the good, the bad and the ugly. We grew up, became adults, we went our ways but God found a way to bring a friendship back together. Just when we started communicating again and planning a reunion you were taken away. I have been deeply saddened and perplexed by this but only God knows who, what, when, where and why? I want you to know you will always be remembered. Much love to you and to the Hamstra family. God bless.

It is especially sad when someone’s life is over at so young an age. My deepest sympathy to you, George and Michelle, on the loss of your sister.

It is difficult to believe you are gone Dino, you were like a little sister to me back in the neighborhood. I will never forget the way you used to dance, laugh, and smile.
My deepest sympathy goes out to Michelle, George and Dinorah as well. You were my second family growing up and I love you all.
