On July 8, 2015, Dave Wenckunas died at the age of 56 years. Dave was the beloved husband and best friend of Jami, loving and proud father of Bryan and Kevin, son of the late Matt Wenckunas and Jean (Ed) Wojciechowski, brother of Sue (John) Alexander, son-in-law of Kathy and Tom Barnes, son-in-law to the late Wendy Mareci, brother-in-law to Amy (Troy) Bowditch and Aaron (Sarah) Seaberg, and beloved brother-in-bond to Carmen (Grace) Geanto and Fred Rutter. Dave will be forever remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. Dave was the vice-president of Geanto’s Trucking, and his loss will be felt throughout the Chicagoland freight transportation community.
Dave’s family will honor him with a memorial visitation on Saturday, July 18th, at West Suburban Funeral Home, 39 N. Cass Ave.
Westmont, IL 60559 from 2pm to 5pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Dave may be made to Bryan and Kevin Wenckunas Trust c/o Harris Bank.

Jami and family, so tragic and my heart is heavy for you and yoiur family. If there is anything I can do, please feel free to call, as I am literally right down the block. May God give all of your family the strength to keep your heads high and pain low, knowing David is in the arms of our Lord. He will be missed!!! With love and heavy hearts , Jim Mandros and family.

I’ve been praying for you and the boys since I was informed of Dave’s passing.
I’m still having a hard time believing it’s true.
Please know I’m here for you should you need anything at all.
