Walter T. King, Born in Chicago on July 7, 1947, Walter King entered into the presence of His Lord and Savior on February 7, 2011. Having lived in Joliet since 1960, Walter worked at GAF, and a local Shell station. He was a faithful member of Will County Baptist Church, serving the LORD with gladness. He is survived by a daughter, Jinelle (Jeromy) Pellegrini; a son, Mitchell King; 3 grandchildren: Malachi, Jace and Conner; a brother, Bill (Martha) King, and niece, Maryanne, of Springfield, Virginia, and cousins in Michigan and Minnesota. Preceded in death by his parents, James and Anne King. Visitation Sunday, February 20th, 4 to 6 pm at: Will County Baptist Church, 625 McDonough St., Joliet, with a celebration of Walter’s life at 6 pm In lieu of flowers, memorials to Will County Baptist would be appreciated.
