I am heartbroken to have to say a bittersweet “goodnight” to my dear brother, friend, and one of the best church members ever to walk through our doors. There are no words in any language to describe the love and kindness Tato modeled in life. He was a man who did what God called him to do. A husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, friend, church member, and so much more. A hero. I pray for every family member.

Goodnight my brother. This is not the end.

Love always,
Pastor Pam and Dave Kacys

My deepest, heartfelt sympathy to Miriam (my Boricua Sister CFC) and the Vera Family. I really enjoyed our visits at McD’s. Tato always spoke fondly of his daughters, grandchildren, and his sons-in-law. His wife was his best friend and Love. He was a God-fearing man and loved the Lord. He will be missed by all who were privileged to know him. May he rest in peace and until we meet again for eternity, his friend, Lucy Gollinger.

Our condolences to the entire Vera family and friends of Tato. I was just getting to know Tato through our Men’s Fellowship and at church and yet I knew I had met a brother in Christ.
We will miss him for a time but we are comforted by the truth that we will see him once again when we meet him again with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I would like to all who have left comments, visited and given of yourselves beyond words can ever express. Your generosity has humbled my family and I.
I knew Tato was and still is an extraordinary man but to see the countless of people that came to pay their respects has warmed our hearts and I will always remember this wonderful man, that I, for the most part thought was invisible, was very visible to those that came across his path. He loved to do good, work with his hands and , to the best of his ability, fix anything that was broken.
Thank you is just not enough to say and I wish there were another word I can use to express the thankfulness I feel to you all.

With a grateful heart,
Miriam Vera
