On behalf of the Liaromatis Family, words cannot express how sorry we are to hear of your loss.
The thing that has always came to mind when I thought of Bob was his Huge SMILE! He always had that smile with a firm hand shake, pat on the shoulder and a genuine greeting no matter how long it had been since we had spent time together. He made you feel welcome when ever and where ever you were. He was truly a great person and true FREIND! This world is a better place for have Bobby spend his short life with us all. God Bless the Walker Family and Bless you Glenda and the kids. God Bless You Bobby. You’ll be missed!
Your FREIND , Mike

Bob was taken much too soon. It was nice, last year, to see him enjoy the meadows pool that he has always enjoyed when he was young. He will be missed so much. My prayers are with Glenda and the boys, Sam and Collin.

My condolances to the entire Walker Family. I was so sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. I used to work with him at Tellabs and had always really enjoyed working with his can do spirit and postive attitude. He also did a side job at my house with some other Tellabs guys to build my fence, which 12 years later is still standing. I was glad to have known him and wish his family peace, love and thankfulness for sharing him with all of us.

Our deepest sympathy to Glenda, Sam, & Collin. Bob will always be remembered as generous, funny, a loving husband to Glenda and father to his boys, a good friend, and lover of life and it’s challenges. He may not be here on earth with us, but you can bet he will live on in all of our hearts that knew and loved him.

Bobby pulled up next to me at a stoplight he was in a silver BMW my truck did not have a passenger side power window Bobby’s big grin and wave made my day. This was a couple of weeks back I felt surely I would have a chance to talk to him again mabe stop by the house or see out and about then the news came I missed my chance to hug him and tell him how much I was praying for him and his family. God bless Bobby’s family.

#16 Comment By Charles Williams On July 2, 2013 @ 10:45 pm

I worked with Bob at Tellabs years ago. We have not seen each other in so many years. It came as such a shock when I heard the news. My heart and prayers go out to his family. He was a friend to so many and he will live on in our hearts forever. Good night my friend.

Bob was an awesome person and a great friend to everyone. My condolences to the walker family. That dang grin of his will be stuck in my mind forever. He is doing great now , that big grin looking down from above. Life is to short to be sad about his leaving, celebrate His life by giving others a big smile, firm handshake and telling stories about the Bob Walker experience ! HAhaha

We are so very sorry for your loss. No words can express how sad we are. Bob was a wonderful man and I will always remember him standing behind the sidelines with us during the many soccer games cheering. Probably the best cheerleader we had. My condolences to the entire Walker family. I also worked at Tellabs back in those years that Bob was there working in maintenance.
He was always a kind and respectful guy and as others here have said he had a positive attitude and a smile on his fave every time he greeted me.
I haven’t seen Bob in many years but still have clear memories of those days back in Tellabs.

God Bless and Rest in Peace

Bob and his positive nature will be greatly missed. He had one of the happiest smiles, you couldn’t help but get your spirits lifted by him. I was stunned when I heard he had passed. Thoughts and prayers to the entire Walker clan.

#26 Comment By Mark and Ingrid Renas On July 4, 2013 @ 11:12 am

Me, Ingrid and my entire family will miss Bob greatly. Bob was the type of person who was always there for us. If it was working on the numerous projects at my house or responding to an emergency (gas leak), he was always willing to help with a smile. I met Bob over 20 years ago when he worked at Tellabs and was a customer of mine when I worked at the Grainger branch in Lisle. I thank God that I had an opportunity to be his friend and get to know him, Glenda and his family. Our thoughts and prayers are with Glenda and the boys.

I will truly miss Bob for his smile, quick witted jokes and somehow managing to help me when I needed it most. For some reason he popped up with an idea for a job during my college years. Got me a gig at Tellabs back in the day! It helped more than he realized.

Always had fun playing football, kill the guy or whatever at Dombrow’s house when he could make it down. I will miss you Bob! God bless you and your family!

Peace and love,

Monica

What can I say about Bob Walker that hasn’t been already said. He was a good Husband, Father, Brother, Son, and friend. I agree with the smile that lights up a room. You know I first ran into Bob at Tellabs and then started rehabbing houses with him for Ron Cluxton Mom. I learned so much from a man who was not afraid to try something he has never done and the confidence that he could fix anything and if all fails he had so many friends he could call in a favors to get any job done. I feel so blessed to have know Bob and will always miss his friendship, all those Volleyball, Basketball, Softball, 8 ball, Darts, Canoe trips and Golf outings we did as buddies. He always kept me smiling. It is still so hard to think you are really gone.

I want to thank him for inviting us into his life with his wife Glenda and kids. For being the life of the party and I can go on and on with stories but never ever had any bad times with Bobby by my side.
Rest in peace, Know you are loved and missed. Say hello to Cameron and Gary, and all our loved once up in heaven. Give my Stephanie a hug and kiss from Jen and I.
Your Friend Steve Harrison
