Rigoberto Abrego Remigio passed away peacefully with his partner Eli Higareda of twenty years at his side on Monday, May 16,  2022 at his residence in Pilsen, Chicago, Illinois. 

Rigoberto is survived by his fiancée Elia Higadera; his siblings in Mexico his sister Nancy Abrego Remigio of Morelia, Michoacán who traveled to Chicago will be taking him back to Mexico for his final resting place. Rigoberto was proceeded in death by his parents +Bruno Abrego Onofre and Lidia Remigio Rojas.

Memorial Service, Tuesday, May 24, 2022, 6:00 p.m till the start of his Celebration of Life Service at 6:30 p.m will be at St Pius V Church, 1901 S. Ashland Avenue, Chicago, Illinois. Fr. Brendan Curran, O.P. officiating
