Pat was a wonderful woman. She was the first principal I had and my gosh she taught me so much. She had a huge heart and she will deeply be missed. May Pat’s memory be eternal.

What can I say about Pat that everyone doesnt already know. I worked both at Liberty and Tobin with her and what a joy she was to work with. She made me laugh every single day. The world is not quite as beautiful anymore now that Pat is gone. To her Family: You have my deepest sympathies. I wish there were words I could say to ease your pain. I hope you find some comfort in knowing what joy she brought to those people around her. May she forever rest in peace.

Our family has been at McCord School for 19 years. In 2012 we went through a difficult time, with the loss of our eldest son. Mrs. Donoghue was so supportive and took a special interest in our 4th grade daughter, that year and her remaining 2 years at McCord. She gave us reassurance that Caroline would be well looked after at school and that’s what we needed. I am forever grateful for that. Please know that Mrs. Donoghue made a difference in my child’s life and I will not forget her.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you,
The Cragg Family

It breaks my heart that Pat left us way too soon. I was the first social worker to work with her since she became the principal at Mc Cord School and she would always tell me that she “couldn’t live without her school social worker”. Pat really appreciated the presence of student support services in her school and we spent endless hours together trying to help students in need. In 2008, I left Mc Cord to move back to Sweden. Last time I talked to Pat was this spring.

Unfortunately, I was not able to attend the services for Pat, but I would like to send my warmest condolences to her husband Dan and her children Rita and Dan. She always talked very fondly of her family and she talked about you often.
She will be missed.

We just heard of Pat’s passing and are so shocked by this news. She was a great neighbor, woman, mother, friend and our family always had fond memories of her. Our deepest condolences to all her family from ours.
