Roy Lee Williams

Roy Lee Williams, 88, of Lyons, Illinois, passed away on March 26, 2026. He was born on March 7, 1938, in Booneville, Mississippi.

Roy lived life to the fullest. Whether he was on the bowling lanes, out on the golf course, tending to his garden, trying his luck at the casino, or simply chatting with the neighbors, Roy was always on the go and could brighten any room he walked into.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Norma; his daughters, Annette (Peppy) Memishofski and Karen (Russ Losasso) Williams; his grandchildren, Travis (Zoe Carrie) Memishofski and Amanda Memishofski. Roy was the last of the seven children born to Joe and Donnie Williams, preceded in death by his siblings Colen Williams, Ida Mae Burcham, Effie Briggs, Ilene Carpenter, Earl Wiliams, and Rosy Lambert, who together left behind 22 nieces and nephews.

Roy will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
