Rosemarie K. Schneider

Rosemarie Schneider, passed away peacefully in her Mayslake home on June 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family and friends.. She was 98 years old. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and loyal friend. Her smile and kindness touched everyone she knew.

Rosemarie is survived by her children; daughter, Diane Prohoroff, sons, Rick Schneider, Tom Schneider and Jim Schneider, sister; Dolores Vernsten, grandchildren; Laura, Joseph, Lindsey, Rachel, Brian, Katie, Abby, Kelsie, Andy, Austin, Jake. She also leaves behind eight great-grandchildren; Liberty, Donnie, Truman, Ezekiel, Owen, Titus, Winston and Leah. She is now reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Don Schneider, son; Don Schneider Jr., daughter; Cathay A’Hearn, granddaughter; Kelly A’Hearn and many others that she loved dearly.

Rosemarie lived her life everyday loving God, family and friends. Through her faithfulness, kindness and precious smile, she leaves behind a permanent imprint on all who knew her.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am on Friday, June 20, 2025 at Our Lady's Chapel at Mayslake Village 1801 35th Street, Oak Brook.  After Mass, a time of fellowship will be held from 11:00am until 2:00pm in the Community Room.  Burial will be private at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be directed to Mayslake Village, Rosemarie’s beloved home community for 25 years.
