Ron had a special Sunday tradition with his granddaughters—taking them to "church," which was really breakfast at McDonald's.

Ronald Caccia, beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2026, at the age of 79. 

Ronald was born on January 12, 1947, in Lopez, Pennsylvania. He was the husband of Sharon Caccia, with whom he shared 62 years of marriage.

Ronald is survived by his daughter, Jeannette Lofstrom, and her husband, David. He was a proud grandfather to Kathy Lofstrom and Christine Diorka, wife of Eddie Diorka. He was also a proud Popi (great grandpa) to Emma and Ben, the children of Eddie & Christine.

Christine and Kathy spent many weekends with Ron and Sharon, creating memories they will carry with them always. Ron had a special Sunday tradition with his granddaughters—taking them to "church," which was really breakfast at McDonald's. Since cooking wasn't exactly Ron's specialty, McDonald's became their Sunday morning destination. What started as a joke became a cherished tradition and one of the many special memories his granddaughters will always remember.

Ron will be remembered for the memories he created with his family, the time he spent with his granddaughters, and the unique traditions that made him who he was.

Ronald is also survived by his brothers, Joseph Caccia and his wife, Edda, and James Caccia and his partner, Marilyn Moberly. He was preceded in death by his brother, John "Jackie" Caccia.

Ron will be remembered for the memories he created with his family, the time he spent with his granddaughters, and the unique traditions that made him who he was. His memory will live on through his daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, extended family, and all those who knew him.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
