Rogelio Hernandez age 72 of Chicago, Illinois, found peace on August 11th, 2026. While Parkinson’s disease slowed his movement in recent years, it never dimmed his funny spirit. Originally from San Luis Potosí, Mexico, Rogelio made Chicago his home for most of his life.
He was a man who truly knew how to live—he loved eating good food, chasing a good time, and turning heads as a lady’s man. Rogelio was always the life of the party. He was a beloved father, grandfather, and amazing uncle who filled his family’s lives with laughter. His humor and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him, but we find comfort knowing he is finally free to dance again.
