Marguerite "Peggy" Trick

Mary Marguerite "Peggy" Trick, nee Gambla, passed away peacefully at home in Burr Ridge, IL on February 26, 2026 at the age of 78. Peggy was born in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Anton and Eleanor Gambla. She dedicated her professional life to Art, both in teaching and in studio, with special emphasis on painting. She received numerous accolades and awards for her work.

Peggy is survived by her children, David Trick, Kristian (Kara) Trick and Marceline (Kathleen) Trick. Her sisters Jeannine (late Donald) Ternes, Denise (Dr. George) Nicolades, Dr Ronald (late Margaret) Gambla and Dr. Richard Gambla, two grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her husband Frederic Trick, parents Anton and Eleanor, brother Dr. Gerald Gambla and her sister MaryAnn Gambla.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 from 3-8 pm at Adolf & Powell Funeral Home 7000 S. Madison St. Willowbrook, IL 60527. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at 9:15 am then process to Divine Savior Church 6700 S. Main St., Downers Grove, IL 60516 for a 10:100 am Funeral Mass. Burial to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery 1400 S. Wolf Rd., Hillside, IL
