Kathleen Barnes

Kathleen “Kathy” Barnes, 79, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2025 surrounded by her loving family and dear friends. Kathy is survived by her daughter, Jami Wenckunas; her son, Jim Leigh; and her beloved grandsons, Bryan and Kevin Wenckunas. She was a devoted mother, proud grandmother and a loyal friend whose kindness and warmth touched everyone who knew her.

She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Tom Barnes—the love of her life—who preceded her in death. Their bond was a lasting source of strength, love, and joy, and their beautiful love story continues beyond this life. Kathy’s spirit, sense of humor, and love for her family and friends will be remembered always. She will be deeply missed by all.
