Filimon Favela

Filimon Favela, age 82 passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at University of Illinois Hospital.

Filimon is survived by his cherished children: Lisbeth Gallardo, Hilda Favela, Gladys Favela and Agustin Favela and Proud Grandpa of: Natalie, Alan and Magdalena.

Visitation: Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at Christian Fellowship Church, 4220 West 59th Street, Chicago, Illinois 60629 3pm to 8 pm. Funeral Service: Thursday, May 28, 2026 meet at St. Procopius Church 1220 West 18th Street (Corner of 18th Street & Allport) Celebration of Life Mass to begin at 10:00 a.m. Burial: Resurrection Cemetery, 7201 Archer Road, Justice, Illinois 60458.
