Miguel Angel Hernandez, age 74, was born in Morelia Michoacán on July 10, 1943. He moved to Mexico City as a teenager and became the manager of a paper store where he met his wife, Estella Villegas, and married in 1972. He resided in Mexico City until the age of 33 and emigrated to Chicago in 1974 and worked in various jobs such as maintenance at a country club and ultimately a bookkeeper. He was an avid tennis player and adored his family in addition to his Chihuahuas Chiquita, Pepper and Perla. He is survived by his wife Estela Villegas Hernandez, son Miguel A. Hernandez, daughter Estella F. Martinez (Carlos I. Martinez) and granddaughter Isabella M. Martinez and brother Lazaro Hernandez. He is preceded in death by his father Jesus Hernandez and mother Catalina Hernandez Escobedo and granddaughter Vivika Hernandez. Miguel ultimately lost a long battle with cancer and left us to be with the Lord on August 9, 2017 at 9:33 pm. May he rest in peace.

Funeral Service: Sunday, August 13, 2017 Prayers at 1:15 pm at Holy Trinity Church Center, 1850 S. Throop, Chicago, Illinois 60608. Funeral Mass 2:00 pm at Providence of God Church, 717 W. 18th Street (18th Street and Union Streets), Chicago, Illinois. Burial Private.
Miguel Angel Hernández, de edad 74, nació en Morelia Michoacán el 10 de julio del 1943. Se mudó a la ciudad de México de jovencito y trabajo como gerente de una papelería en donde conoció a su esposa, Estela Villegas, y se casó en el 1972. El vivió en la ciudad de México hasta la edad de 33 cuando emigro a los estados unidos en 1974 y trabajo en varios trabajos laborales. Él era un amante del tenis y también de su familia y Chihuahuas Chiquita, Pepper and Perla que eran como parte de la familia. El es sobrevivido por su esposa Estela Villegas Hernández, hijo Miguel A. Hernández, hija Estella F. Martínez (Carlos I Martínez), nieta Isabella M. Martínez y hermano Lázaro Hernández. Le precedieron en la muerte por su padre Jesús Hernández y madre Catalina Hernández Escobedo y su nieta Vivika Hernández. Miguel finalmente perdió la batalla con cáncer y nos dejó para estar con Dio el 9 de Agosto de 2017 a las 9:33 pm que descanse en paz.

Nuestras condolencias están con ustedes ya que el Señor Miguel fue una gran persona que ayudó bastante a mi esposa Rebeca Frausto, cuando ella emigró a este país, que nos a dado la oportunidad de vivir mejor y gracias a su ayuda y la de su esposa Rebeca salió adelante. Que Dios lo tenga en su santa gloria. Amen!!!
