Mary Jane Daily (nee Chandler), 95, of Bellevue, died Friday November 7, 2014 after a short illness.  She was born June 19, 1919 in Farragut, Iowa, the daughter of Robert Augustus Chandler and Emma Frances Booth.  She had seven brothers and sisters.

Jane worked as a secretary for the Navy before marrying and raising six children. She later owned an ice cream store, devoting much of her time to creating custom ice cream cakes. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards and golf, and watching sports with family.

She is survived by her children Patricia, Jack Jr., Gary, William and Steven, as well as five granddaughters.  She was predeceased by her daughter Ann. Private services to be held.

The world is a better place for the difference she made in the lives of her kids,  her devoted nieces and nephews, and their children.
