I think this is the man who worked at the car wash in Yorkville. If this is the same man, I learned of his passing today when I went to the wash and a sign was posted to let patrons know. I shared the sign on the local mom site. There is much sadness amongst the town. He was a kind man and hard worker and was greatly appreciated. We will miss him.

Yes it is the same man. I just ran into his sister and she told me he had passed . I’ve know him and his family for almost 40 years. He was a produce manager at the jewel in Aurora on smith st back in the day . She said he woke up and had a heart attack and died. He will be missed

Deeply saddened by this news!! Lee was the most kind hearted person I have met in a long time!!! I only went to the local car wash to speak with Lee even if it was just for a short while as Lee was one of the hardest workers regardless of any situation. I guess it is true the good die young, Lee will not be forgotten!! I wish well to the family and I know he’s up there with his big smile looking down on us!!! RIP Lee
