I was at my neighbor Bob Campbells home yesterday 8/13 /17 and were talking about how the neighborhood has changed over the years. I asked Bob when was the last time he talked to John and he said a few years ago, Usually Christmas cards.. When I Moved into my Florida home in 1987 that’s when I met John and Ruth. I was the youngest man in the block and got to know everyone very well. John, Ruth, Bob and Virginia’s Chase and Bob and Peggy Campbell were some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. After Ruth passing John decided to move back to Illinois was very sad for all. Thanks to the Internet we are now able to have an answer to our question. John was a super guy that reminded me very much of my own grandfather. Thanks for the great memories. Tim Bartlett and Robert Campbell
