John A. “Skip” Knott, 63 of Manhattan, IL. went home to be with the Lord September 28, 2014. Son of the late John and Helen (Blaszkowski) Knott; beloved husband of Carol (nee Dyke) Knott; devoted father of David (Courtney) Knott, Sheri (Brian) Elzinga; proud grandfather of Liam, Aidan, and Quinn Knott and Benjamin and Chase Elzinga; dearest brother of Judith (James)Teggelaar; loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Friday October 3, 2014, at Hickory Creek Community Church 10660 W. Lincoln Hwy. Frankfort, IL. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the American Breast Cancer Society.

Aunt Carol, David and Sheri,
We were so sorry to hear of Uncle John’s passing.
I have countless found memories of Uncle John and all of the fun times we spent together. Whether it was fireworks or go-carts, he was always a source of great fun and adventure.
You and your families will be in our family’s thoughts and prayers.
