Pat, Jacinto Jr., Nicole & Dominic,

On behalf of my mom and the Marquez family I would like to express our deepest sympathy. Although, my mom doesn’t have her memory I’m sure she would’ve felt very sad on Jay’s passing.

I admired how much cariño he had for my mother, and for the older Tias & Tios. I love how he called them the patriarchs.

We are thinking of you and praying for you every day. We hope that your wonderful memories of him will bring you comfort and peace during this difficult time.

There’s not a person in the world that can convince me that Jay is not here with all of us at this very moment. I was in the middle of a job when I said to myself, better go to see my Brother Jay before he gets laid to rest… With no ideal where he was going to get put to rest, except of course the name of the Cemetery. I jumped into my truck and I Prayed. I started talking to Jay spiritually and I could hear him telling me, “Nigga hurry up, I’m right here waiting on you. As I turn into the entrance I saw cars going in all directions, I said (Grandpa) now what am I going to do to find you. I could hear him telling me you know how we roll brother to the left, we always ride to the left. Made a left turn and follow the road all the way to the end. Sure enough I see a crowd gathered… Without a doubt, I park the truck and started walking directly towards the burial site. Yeah! One may call it just a coincidence, but come on now. Think about it, the shot glasses were getting all poured upon just as I walk up to everyone. On time for a final toast, on time for the final words to Jay, and on time to see him get put to rest. (Grandpa) Jay Guided me to him. Jay Lives on… May the Lord guide him through his new righteous path. He will forever be in all of our hearts. I love you brother Jay, Thanks for everything, your love, your friendship, your knowledge and wisdom, and your love for me as a brother. Your brother for life, Willie

I’m sorry about your loss. May you find comfort in this promise found in the bible
John 5:28,29 “ do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out”
