He was born in La Plaza de Limon, Michoacan, Mexico. Son of Gabino and Maria Ochoa. He married the love of his live Ernestina Verduzco. Always greeting with a smile and never letting his guard down, Gabino loved life for what it is and spread that love to everyone. Motivated to give it all he had. Loved to make people laugh with his sarcasm and double-sided jokes. Gabino always saw the lighter side of things and was genuine and witty. He enjoyed nature and never felt discouraged even when things did not turn out as planned. He also was very protective and loving of all his grandchildren.

Gabino is survived by his wife, Ernestina Verduzco, and their five children: Joaquin Ochoa, Gabino Ochoa, Marina Moreno (Marco Antonio), Irene Ochoa, and Susana Martinez (Jorge Enrique), and grandchildren Joaquin & Josue Ochoa-Solorio, Paul Gibran Isaias, Mitzi Andrea (Jerome Rejano), Francisco Gianni (Crystal Salazar) & Isaac Mathew Ferdinand Moreno, George Adrian, Alexyys Monserrat & Zachary Martinez. He will always be loved and remembered dearly. May he forever rest in peace.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 30, 2019 at 4:30 pm at St. Pius V Church, 1901 S. Ashland Ave. Chicago, IL  60608.  After Mass, there will be gathering in the church basement.
