“Ellen Yuri Kano, age 38, of Downers Grove, passed away peacefully at home on February 13th, 2021. Ellen was born in August of 1982 in Oak Park, IL to Kaz and Mari Kano.
Ellen is predeceased by her father, Kaz; and is survived by her mother, Mari; her younger brother, Konrad; and her three beloved children, Preston, Callen, and Gabriel.
Ellen graduated from Downers Grove South High School, and dove into various interests and careers. She was once a licensed real estate agent, and most recently worked diligently in her career as a postal carrier for the United States Postal Service. Ellen was a kind, gentle soul who cared deeply for others. She was cherished by everyone she touched in life, and will be sorely missed.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 21st, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home 516 S. Washington St., Naperville, IL 60540.

My heart breaks for you. I think of you often, and when I tried to reach out today, I found that your dear daughter, Ellen, is gone. I am so shocked and saddened. Much love and peace to you.
