Deborah Marie Panek Born September 29, 1966 Died October 15 , 2016.
Deborah (Debbie) Marie Panek, 50, of Wonder Lake formerly of Lake in the Hills lost her battle with cancer and passed away peacefully on October 15, 2016 at Journey Care in Barrington.
Beloved daughter of Paula Panek of Wonder Lake and Fred Panek of Herbster, WI. Loving mother to Bryan, Derek and David. Grandmother to Jaidah. Dear sister to Joseph. Fond Aunt to Samantha, Nicholas, and Brandon. Debbie was a dear friend to many.
Debbie enjoyed going to work everyday socializing with her day-to-day customers making long-term friends. She never missed a day, arrived early, worked holidays and was truly dedicated to her job. Debbie loved to read, watch British mysteries and “old time” TV shows. She loved nature and the country and cherished the time she shared with her Dad in Northern Wisconsin.
We were all blessed to have Debbie in our lives. Dearly missed by all who knew her. As a final unselfish and charitable act, Debbie’s wish was that her body be donated to science.
To honor Debbie’s wishes, burial will be private. Memorials to the family would be appreciated.

Thank you. Yes, we all miss my Debbie. She died way too young but she is in a far better place and at peace.

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. Yes, we miss my Debbie a lot. Her son, David, and I are living in Wonder Lake and enjoying our new home.

Thank you, Debbie. Yes, we miss her terribly but she is at peace and no more suffering. We moved to Wonder Lake when Debbie was 3 months old so it is like returning to old friends. Again, thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
