David Rios age 57 passed away on Sunday, January 2^nd, 2022 at Mount Sinai Hospital, Chicago, Illinois.

Visitation: Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Hursen Funeral Home, 4001 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 from 2:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. Celebration of Life Funeral Mass to be celebrated at  the funeral home at 3:00 p.m.

Funeral Service: Monday, January 10, 2022 family and friends will meet at 8:00 a.m.  at  Hursen Funeral Home, prayers at 8:45 a.m.  Burial at Elm Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 401 E. Lake Street, Elmhurst, Illinois 60126

Funeral staff & family asks that anyone who is considering being present for the visitation and services at the funeral home , please follow the mandatory COVID guidelines: masks must be worn at all times, respect social distancing and hand sanitizer to be used upon entering the funeral home.  We appreciate your understanding during these difficult times.

Weep Not

Weep not for me, when I am gone, I’ve lived my life, I’ve sung my song. Known tears and laughter, sun and rain, a life that brought more joy than pain. I’ve been content with love so deep, that peacefully, I’ll ever sleep. A love we shared with joy untold, and kept me young, though I grew old. I’ve held my babies in my arms, and felt the thrill of their sweet charms. Had many friends and family too, that smoothed the way as I passed through. Weep not for me, when life is done, For I have been the richest one. I will go home, content to see The One who gave it all to me.
