Born April 12, 1938 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Damian migrated to Chicago along with his siblings for a new life for his wife and family. Damian found his calling as a trade plumber with Halloran & Yauch Inc. and was employed for 33 years. A lifetime member of Chicago Journeymen Plumbers Union Local 130. The latter years of his life, Damian spent his days joyfully watching his grandchildren and great grandchildren grow before his eyes. Always patient, driving them all to do countless errands, and repeatedly to McDonalds for McNuggets and fries. Damian always had a wit about himself. Always chiming in with a comment, it would laugh up a room because everyone would find it so unexpected. Damian’s life can best be described as peaceful. You could always find him in his backyard enjoying the weather, in his basement full of tools, or watching his old westerns films from the 40’s and 50’s. Damian loved his wife, his children and all his grandchildren and great grandchildren. They all would always fill up his house wanting to be by his side. He was always giving, and never one to complain, even in his final days. He left with a smile, talking to all the children that made his life a joy.
