I am saddened to learn about Craig’s death. I am assuming that this message is to family of Craig Artwohl, the amazing swimmer. I was a teammate of his on the Easton High Swim team neatly 50 years ago, and remember him well. It was a great privilege to train with him and to watch him swim. He will be remembered and missed by many people.

Dear Craig’s family. I was also a swimmer – or sort of – as I was primarily a breaststroker. I swam with Craig at Glenbrook South near Chicago. And Craig lived with my family for one Summer, before he moved to Pennsylvania. We both went to college and lost track of each other. Then, I heard that Craig had been injured. I was visiting relatives in Colorado, so I visited him while he was at the Craig Rehabilitation Hospital. Then we lost track again. So I was saddened when I heard of his passing. I remember Craig as a stellar fellow, full of life and enthusiasm. I hope that he didn’t suffer unduly, over time due to his injury, or in passing.
