My cousin “Willy”…very sad to her this news. Great cousin and great friend throughout my life. We spent many years fishing in WI. I’m glad we had those times together. Some of my best memories of you and your family. Truly a caring person with a heart of gold. Always made an effort to call and see how I was doing and discuss the latest Blackhawks season. God Bless you Bill. I’ll miss you dearly.

My condolences to the Ryan family during this time. My the good memories help you cope during this time.

Love,
Pat Lagro

Sincere condolences to the Ryan family for this devastating loss. Willie’s zest for life and being the “life of the party” are indelible aspects of his legacy, but there was so much more to him. He was such a sweet, generous, caring, and kind soul. Political correctness wasn’t always his forte, but not a malicious or unkind bone in his body. And as FUN as it was to share so many adventures with him over the years, I’ll especially miss the times when we talked about “life stuff” in between the endless stream of gut-splitting anecdotes and one-liners. He had a real soft side that shined through at every turn. Gone WAY too soon, but as a much smarter guy than me once said, “the candle that burns twice as bright burns half as long.” Love and peace be with you Willie. First one’s on me when we meet again.
