Alexander Bogush, 24, of Palm Springs, Calif., died June 30, 2019, in Palm Springs, Calif.

He was born Dec. 16, 1994, in Bucharest, Romania, and adopted by his family on Dec. 18, 1996. Alex is the son of Gregory and Cynthia Hutson Bogush and brother to Ashley Bogush. Alex was a resident of Aurora. He attended Calvary Christian School and Metea Valley High School.

Alex is survived by his parents, Gregory and Cynthia Hutson Bogush, and sister, Ashley Bogush, all of Aurora. He also leaves behind his maternal grandparents, Randy and Phyllis Hutson, Normal; and his paternal grandparents, Harry and Mary Bogush, Columbia, N.J. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Alex was an active young man who enjoyed entertaining those around him. He was ready to laugh and enjoy the moment with whomever he was with. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Visitation for Alex will be held on Friday, July 12, 2019 from 5 pm until time of services, 6 pm at Calvary Church 9S200 IL Rt 59, Naperville.  Visitation will also be held on Saturday, July 13, 2019 from 10 am until time of services, 11 am at 1st United Methodist Church, 108 S. Cedar St., Lexington, IL.  Burial will be at Lexington Cemetery.

I’m am so sorry for your loss! I spent time working with Alex while here in treatment in Palm Springs. My heart is saddened by this news. He was a very energetic young man. My condolences to the family!!!!

I second everything you just said. I also worked with Alex in Laguna Beach. Wished he left here on better terms and I was concerned for him. Very saddened to hear of this news…..God bless

Our prayers are with you at this very sad time. He was the most precious child, and we will never forget him. Asking God to keep you and Greg under His loving care. We are very sorry for this tragic loss.
