James Earl Walker, 67 years of age  entered into peaceful  rest on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 in Chicago, Illinois surrounded by his dear family. James also known as “Jimmy and/or Pete” Walker was a 33 year Chicago Police Officer serving in the 16th District with Unit #377.

Beloved husband of Socorro “Liza” Dammara. Loving dad of Tiffany (Lemue) Hogue, LaDonna Walker, Jenell (Charles) Harris, Christina (Justin) House, James Lee Jr. Dearest Granddaddy “Papa” of Anthony, Dallas, Austin, Lemya, Lemuel III, TaShia, Mya, Elijah, Jayden, Semaj, Jordan, Kenley, and Kenneth Jr. Dearest son of the late George and Bettie Walker.  Fond brother of Linda (Jerome) Walker Bailey, Sandra Walker, Desthnee Walker, and Donald(Elizabeth) Walker.  Son-in-Law of Francisca Banda. Brother-in-Law of Henry/Elsa Banda, Bobby/Elvia Banda, Elva/Alan Rasmussen, Gloria/Ruben Perales, Serafin/Joanna Banda, Ralph Banda, Esther Banda, Julie Banda, and Mario Banda.

Visitation will be Friday, December 1, 2017 from 10 am until time of service 12 Noon at Hursen Funeral Home, 4001 Roosevelt Rd. Hillside. Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery.
